Friend of the week: Student Grantmakers and the Schnitzer Cares Foundation!
Students grantmakers from:
*Roosevelt HS Philanthropy Group,Â
Alliance HS Leadership Class,Â
McDaniel HS Business Launch Program, andÂ
Benson Polytechnic HS AVID 12 class *
partnered with Schnitzer Cares Foundation to fundraise, and interview organizations working in social issues they cared about. All 4 of these student lead group chose to fund PIRC as a grantee for our work in the community!
We were so touched by the opportunity to meet these students, share about our work, and hear the reasons they chose to donate their hard earned money to PIRC. Thank you to the students, teachers, and Schnitzer Cares for investing in us!
