Our History
Since 2005, the Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition (PIRC) has been defending the rights of immigrants in our community through education, rapid response, and legal support.
2005
Founded by a group of approximately 50 activists and community members.
2006
Organized one of the largest marches in Portland's history for May Day.
2021
Became an independent non-profit.
2024
Began seeking independent funding.
