What to know about ICE in airports

  • At this time, Port of Portland has not received any reports of potential ICE agents at PDX

  • If you or a loved one is traveling through one of the airports where ICE agents will be (primarily on the east coast), consider

    • Locking your phone, computer etc

    • Remember your rights: to remain silent, to not sign anything you do not understand without speaking to an attorney, and that you can say “I do not consent” if your belongings are confiscated/searched by ICE agents

    • Remember that you can record interactions with ICE: be CLEAR (Count, Location, Equipment used, Activity performed, Report time and date)
