Trends we are observing this week:

While the number of detentions overall reported to PIRC this week dropped below 20, we are noticing an increase in detentions of:

Venezuelan asylum seekers (10 thus far in July)

People who are in cars OR parking lots (over half of reported detentions this week)

As well as some ongoing detentions after interactions with local law enforcement
